What’s Included


  • Wooden bench seating for up to 80 guests

  • Three hours of reserved site access

Site access includes time for setup, ceremony, and teardown. Additional site access is $500 per hour. Please note that the farm will remain open to the public, but the ceremony site will be reserved for your wedding ceremony.

Get Ready Bungalow
Beginning at $500

Congaree and Penn offers bungalows at The Hammock as a place to get ready. The lighting is brilliant and ideal for “getting ready” photography. Overnight stays require a two night minimum.

ceremony Site Bar
$150 activation fee

The cost of beer, wine, cider & other beverages, sales tax & 20% gratuity are an additional fee.

Wagon Ride
$200 per hour

Recommended for escorting guests to and from the ceremony site. Two farm wagons are available and can each accommodate up to 20 guests at a time. A 90 minute minimum is required.

Golf Cart
$75 Rental fee

Recommended for the happy couple and their vendors for transportation and delivery of decorations, sound equipment, and other props to and from the ceremony site.

 FAQ & policies

  • Yes, music may be played at the ceremony site. We recommend hiring String Theory. There is also an outlet at the ceremony site for other music. The volume must not exceed 75 decibels.

  • No. Guest vehicles are prohibited beyond the parking lot. All props and decorations must be carried to the ceremony site, and all guests must walk to the ceremony site or hire a farm wagon and / or golf cart for transportation.

  • Florals are welcome! Candles must be contained. Natural scattered petals are also welcome, but must be removed immediately after the ceremony. All decor must be transported via rented farm wagon and / or golf cart.

    Balloons, glitter, confetti, large decorations, large props, tents & furniture are prohibited. All decorations must be removed immediately after the ceremony within the three hour timeframe.

  • Children are welcome! We do kindly request that children are always supervised and mindful and respectful of other guests.

  • Yes! Well behaved dogs on leashes that do not extend past six feet are welcome.

  • We welcome up to 120 guests at the ceremony site. Please keep in mind that seating is only available for up to 80 guests.

  • The benches will be set up at the oak tree by the creek. They will face the knotted crook of the oak tree. You are welcome to move the benches as long as they remain in the vicinity of the ceremony site.

  • No. Congaree and Penn prohibits outside food & beverages.

  • Reservations are rain or shine.

    Congaree and Penn will not be held liable for inclement weather (rain, thunderstorms, hurricanes, etc.), acts of God, epidemics, pandemics, or loss of electricity. We highly recommend that clients purchase personal event insurance to cover the cost of their investment in the event of a disaster.

  • While we expect that onlookers will be mindful and respectful of the elopement ceremony, Congaree and Penn cannot be held responsible for interruptions when the farm is open to the public.

    Smoking and vaping are prohibited.

  • Please email hello@congareeandpenn.com to request a booking. A signed agreement and the nonrefundable ceremony site fee are due immediately to reserve the day and timeframe of your wedding ceremony. Payment may be made via ACH bank transfer or credit card. Credit card payments will incur a three percent surcharge.
