Congaree and Penn boasts an elevated farm setting that's equally Southern and otherworldly. It’s no wonder that our acres are a favorite destination for snapping photos.

Candid, unplanned photos are always welcome. But, please do note that if you’re a photographer or a client looking to schedule a planned photo shoot at Congaree and Penn, we do require a reservation and a site fee. Read on to learn more about fees, scheduling, and policies.

Before you choose a day and time, please note the policies below.

  • Regardless of whether a photographer is being paid for photos or not, a reservation and a site fee are required. Because we are a private property and a business (and not a public park or national forest), we require a site fee for photography sessions. Our goal is to keep the farm special, and to grant photographers sole access to the time they reserve.

  • Regardless of the amount of time actually spent on the property, a $100 site fee is required for individual photo sessions for up to two hours of access on the farm property, and $200 for multiple / mini sessions for up to four hours of access on the farm property.

  • Payment is due immediately to reserve your date. Payment is nonrefundable. In the event of inclement weather, we are happy to reschedule.

  • It is the photographer’s responsibility to determine his or her own fees and to book their own clients.

  • The farm is expansive with plenty of beautiful areas for photography, but if you'd like to schedule a time when the farm is not open to the public, please note our farm hours. If you need access to indoor amenities, we recommend that you schedule your photo session(s) during the farm's regular hours.
