Join us for the 2025 Arbequina olive harvest
T H E H A R V E S T
August 16 + 23
10am - 1pm + 6pm - 8pm
Check in at the farm stand upon arrival to receive your two gallon olive harvest bucket, then hop on the farm wagon for a short ride to the olive grove. Farmer Matt Torak will welcome and guide guests through the olive harvest. Fill your bucket with olives, keep your bucket of olives, or trade them in for a bottle of olive oil when you return to the farm stand.
The farm wagon will provide continuous loops between the farm stand and the olive orchard. Arrive whenever you’d like during the timeframe. The last wagon will depart from the farm stand at 12:30 pm for the daytime harvest and at 7:30 pm for the evening harvest.
If you’re hankering for a hike, guests are also welcome to enjoy a 15 - 20 minute walk to the olive orchard.

We recommend wearing long pants and closed toe, water resistant shoes. Insect repellent, sun hats, and sunscreen are always a good idea, too.
If you would like to dine before or after the olive harvest, reservations are required and available on Resy on a 30 day rolling basis. Please keep in mind that dinner at Congaree and Penn is meant for an adult atmosphere centered on a farm to table dining experience. The children’s menu is not available during dinner service.
The farm grounds are kid friendly. We kindly ask that children are monitored and mindful of our animals and other guests. Please do not allow children to chase the birds.
Outside food & beverages, smoking / vaping, and balloons are not permitted.
Tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, no matter the circumstance. Cancellations and no shows will forfeit their reservation and associated fees. The olive harvest is dependent on the weather forecast. In the case of more than a drizzle on the farm grounds, the olive harvest will be postponed or canceled. In the case of cancellation due to inclement weather, guests will receive a gift card credit via email.
Well behaved canines on leashes that do not extend beyond six feet may walk with their owners to the olive orchard. Only service dogs are permitted on the farm wagon. Owners must always be in full control of their dog. We have many feathered friends who live on our farm; please keep Fido away. Dogs must remain on a short leash at all times.
