About Congaree and Penn’s Horses

Charley is a 17-hand bay Appendix gelding. He is a good citizen who loves kids. Although he’s very tall, he’s great for a novice rider. Charley prefers to be the leader on trail rides and in the paddock – he is very much the Alpha of the pair. He’s a “push ride” who loves nothing more than carrots.

Moose is a 16.1-hand bay Thoroughbred gelding who looks more like a Warmblood. He is a sweet, in-your-pocket, big bodied gentleman. Moose is also a “push ride” who thrives with a confident, soft, and well educated rider, and he loves to be rewarded with snuggles and apples.
