Yes! Workshops and tours will become fully booked. We do keep a wait list, but it’s rare that spots become available.
Of course not! If you’d rather explore the farm at your leisure or simply enjoy a cider and farm fare on the patio, you’re more than welcome.
The farm menu will be available from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm, and the taproom will be open from 10:00 am - 9:00 pm. We serve beer, wine, cider and nonalcoholic beverages like La Croix and juice boxes. Outside food and beverage are not permitted.
We think so! The Wagon Ride & Goat Greet and Pony Pet & Bubble Bath are specifically designed for children, and we also offer good old fashioned fresh air, sunshine, and room to run.
Congaree and Penn uses our covered wagons with finished wood bench seats to escort guests throughout the property. No hay here! The wagons are wheelchair accessible.
The quonset hut and paved patio are stroller friendly and wheelchair accessible. We have paved dirt roads that most strollers happily roll along, but we do not recommend taking wheelchairs beyond the quonset hut patio. When it’s been raining, the roads do get wet and muddy.
If you are participating in outdoor workshops, please be prepared with appropriate clothing, footwear, hats, sunscreen, and bug spray. If you are allergic to bees, ants, other insects, or any other outdoor hazards, we advise you to bring an EpiPen, just in case.
A little rain never hurt anyone, but in the event of a downpour or thunderstorm, we will delay the workshops and tours. If the day is rained out, we will cancel the event and you will be credited the full amount spent for another transaction at the farm.
Well behaved dogs on leashes are always welcome, but must be kept away from our farm animals. Dogs of all sizes are welcome on the Founder’s Tree Tour.
